Mrs. Carvell put it on the table...
The GOP doesn't view Basic Health Care as a right.

That's it.

No if ands or buts about it.

Health Care is not a right.

16. Republicans want you to die.
Hmm maybe thats a bit too hyperbolic.

Give them a picture of the republicans that opposed healthcare and label it "America's real death panel"

7. That's it. We consider it a right, they consider it a "responsibility". They have
no compassion for their fellow human beings. I'm truly speechless that they're that heartless -- and not the least bit ashamed.

13. Are you talking about Mary Matalin?

I'm no big fan of hers, but why refer to her as "Mrs. Carvell" (sic)? It seems a bit sexist to me to insist on identifying her based on who her husband is. I didn't take my husband's name, and my opinions are mine, not his.

I was thinking the same thing. Women don't simply become an extension of their husbands when they marry.

24. I don't think that was WCGreen's intent

But it is one of my pet peeves. If a woman wants to take her husband's name, that's great. If not, also great. It should be her choice, and she should be referred to the way that she wants.

:hi:

It really makes no difference to me. It was her choice.

She picked Mrs WCGreen...

14. They're wrong, and I'd consider that a "self-evident" truth.
It's even written into the Declaration of Independence- we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, and one of those is life itself. That's not so because the government says it is, either. The right comes to us from a higher power. Addressing such a vague, ideological question, the answer is very clear.

Of course, when issues get narrowed down, things become more complicated. ;)
