coburn explained it
he just posited that the debate was about "purchasing and payment".. the republicans still don't understand that this is about people and their health care... they reduce it all to money and business. They cannot be worked with, they can not be trusted.

3. Their hypocrisy is unrivaled.
They certainly didn't have a problem with paying for their illegal war or tax cuts to the richest 2% of citizens - done almost simultaneously.

But to help the poorest among us? Oh no, we can't do that...x(

4. Call me cynical but
I think that money motives explain virtually al of our actions - including the fact that a sitting Dem President with Dem majorities in both the House and Senate have been unable to deliver real PROGRESSIVE healthcare reform. As opposed to the pending clusterfuck that is nothing more than a bit of ***INSURANCE*** reform.
