Torturous RW logic and the insurance premium increases

I rarely venture over into enemy territory but today I was curious how the wingnuts would characterize the recent health insurance industry abuses by WellPoint, Athena, et al. Surely many of them had their premiums increased or were dropped for coverage. When it happens to *you* that makes all the difference in the world, right?

Oh boy. The torturous logic and incredible denial are mind-boggling. Here are a few points they bring up.

• The insurance companies are trying to make as much profit as they can before ObamaCare goes into effect.
  
• The increases are a government plot to scare people into passing ObamaCare. And why is the insurance industry cooperating with this? According to them, the industry WANTS ObamaCare to pass. Sorry, never figured out the logic of this one.
  
• The old canard, government regulation is responsible. Deregulate the industry and prices will go down?
  
• Dirty evil nasty trial lawyers are responsible.
  
• It's not the insurance industry but the greedy hospitals and doctors overcharging for services. This one has merit - $20 box of Kleenex anyone? - yet I thought the right to turn any kind of profit was the holy mantra and foundation of their philosophical world view. Do they advocate regulating doctors and hospitals now? Imposing caps on salaries? Oh my. Somehow government regulation is responsible for this too, but, again, the logic as to how eludes me.
