I listened to just a few of the people that Thom Hartmann had to endure. Like the 14 year old conservative douche bag (with apologies to douche bags), and the flat tax weenie. I've read threads on the "convention".

My conclusion is that there is something truly, mentally wrong with some of these people - they are not different, they are not just expressing a different view - they are sick. And as the numbers grow and the media continues to froth up the mania of it all, it is only tending toward true danger.

Our country is being hijacked by the lunatics.

9. It just reinforces the stigma that anyone bad, or anyone we disgaree with, is mentally ill.

Do you know how many people on this very site suffer from it? How many of those people are on your side, and how many of those people do good things for the left everyday? By choosing to label these people you hate as mentally ill it lumps any of those with mental illness in with them, whether that's how it's meant or not. It's tough enough as it is getting people to take it seriously without our own side making it tougher. For those with a mental illness, that IS a real enemy.
