1. Larry Johnson on NOW too! He just BLASTED Tenet for not coming forward earlier!
"Tenet should have been thinking about the 3000+ soldiers who have been killed."

"He doesn't want to bite the hand that feeds him...the BFEE is so powerful and Cheney is so hated, he was a safer target."

"Bush KNEW in 2002 there was NO CONNECTION between Saddam and Al Qaeda." "He told the Brits that he was going to fix the intel to fit his war. He should not be allowed to get away with this."

"Tenet should give back his Medal of Freedom and donate ALL proceeds of the $$$$$$ he makes on this book to the SOLDIERS."

2. Durbin didn't come across so great, either.
Showed his Senate floor speech from today saying he knew, as member of the intelligence committee that the Iraq picture wasn't addding up before the war, but was sworn to secrecy.

4. Durbin would have been charged with TREASON. The political climate in this country, at that time,

was HORRENDOUS! It's bad NOW, but it was even worse when the psycho's poll numbers were UP.

6. There is a frame of mind hammered into your head when you are
given classified info. It becomes everything to you. It isn't just the legal aspects of handling this info, there is a sense of personal honor. You have been given a position of trust.

I held a Top Secret Crypto clearance. Much of what I know is now declassified, but I have a visceral reaction talking about that now declassified info. The USS Liberty is the exception because it is a case where our government sided with Israel against our own soldiers and sailors. After all these years I am still hurt and angry. The USS Liberty is the only matter I will discuss, the rest will go to my grave. I'm sure other old spooks feel the same.

10. Lot of peer pressure too. Anyway, I wouldn't have wanted on my
conscience if I leaked something and it led to the death or imprisonment of innocent people.

8. Like the identity of a covert CIA agent
You think the "frame of mind" was hammered into Cheney or rove or Bush* or any within the Cabal. The only "frame of mind" in them is how best to help the Party and the Wealthy which supports the Party..National Security or releasing classified information does not even enter their mind..
