Kill Social Security and Medicare: Palin loves it... Who needs the Tea Klux Klan support anyway..

Threatening to cut Social Security and Medicare is considered political suicide, especially with so many voters in America, the baby boomers, just now qualifying for these programs. That has many Republicans wary of Ryan's plan..but not Palin..

It’s a radical plan to balance the federal budget by slashing the sacred cows of American entitlement spending: Social Security and Medicare. And it’s scrambling the political landscape: Sarah Palin loves it. Republicans in Washington are split, wary of the electoral fallout of the spending cuts with the midterm looming. And Democrats are gleeful, confident that they can exploit Ryan’s plan to divide the GOP and perhaps even conquer in a few competitive places this fall.

1. Silly rabbit. Her district in MN is full of retired people, and this
won't play well with them. She keeps alienating her constituents. She barely won in 2008. She may well lose in 2010. I, for one, am going to be working very hard to see her fall. I'm not in her district, but it borders on mine. Our house seat is secure, so I'm going to campaign against Michele Bachmann. Yes, indeed, I am.

2. I thought the plan was to leave us oldies alone (we're a voting block after all)
and throw all the younger folks out of SS. Their thinking being that us older folks will say, fuck the kids, I've got mine, they can fend for themselves." Does that sound cynical enought for the GOP?
