THE INSULT (with appologies to Charles Atlas)
Edited on Thu Feb-11-10 06:53 PM by LiberalLovinLug

My frustration with this administration is boiling over. Here's how I see it.
Dems keep expecting the Reps to be reasonable. And every day they are wiping sand from their eyes.

Americans, specifically the independents and "moderates", don't want to give their votes to a party that wimps out and caves in every time. It really doesn't matter if its a left or a right initiative. Its how strongly one stands behind it. Obama seemed like a strong, take no prisoners leader, and that's why he was voted in over the bumbling waffling old man. And Nancy and Harry seemed to convey that things would now be different, right after the election, but a year later its Gary the GOP that is back as "the Man" in most independent voters minds.

1. There is really only one possible answer but it's so horrible people don't want to see it.
They are in on it together.

I keep racking my brain and it's all I can come up with.

2. Honestly, I am afraid you are right.
How else could the Democratic party be so ineffective?

3. What else could it be?
Really I hate to say it but we have one of two choices here.

Ineffective dullards or accomplices. I have to believe the later because I know Obama is no dullard.

4. But why would they volunteer to be the "wimp"?
If that were true, and they had the same corrupt values as the Repukes, you'd think they'd save themselves the aggravation and just join the GOP.

5. It's the good coping bad coping of America.
One plays the good cop, one plays the bad cop. It's theatre.

6. Maybe
But it looks from this seat in the theatre like one plays the corrupt veteran cop, and one plays his nervous nelly partner that should've never been a cop, is too scared to report his partner, and gets laughed at behind his back and sent out of the room when anything serious has to be done.

7. A very good point.
And in the end it doesn't matter who is right, because the end result is the same.
