I honestly don't know whether Gingrich ever knew one way or the other if what he was saying was true.

If it was true, it was an accident, it wasn't he didn't care.

What's the saying?...A lie can be halfway around the world before the truth gets its shoes on.
But not nearly as many people hear or read the correction as bought the original lie.
