Stock Futures Drop Sharply On Weaker-Than-Expected GDP
I still think you have those that have just been making dollars at the expense of the small investor and there was determination from the big guys to break the 130000 mark for Bush & his corporate cronies and give Faux something postive to talk about regarding the market. This is still a divided economy of the haves & the have nots & it is a matter of time or question of how long they can keep it propped up.

U.S. stock index futures dropped sharply after the government issued a weaker-than-expected estimate about economic growth.

First-quarter gross domestic product (GDP) rose an estimated 1.3%, less than the annual rate of 1.8% that was expected. Futures fell as investors interpreted the data to reveal slower growth and higher inflation.
