The Banner that said "Mission Accomplished" was put up to show
that the ships mission had been accomplished and did not refer to
the war in Iraq.

Honest to God some right wing nut job said that this AM before I
could turn it off.

because navy vessels who were just out to sea on military business keep a fully stocked and manned art department available to whip up big old banners with fancy graphics at a moments notice. That banner was not something that was whipped together on a whim by a bunch of energetic seamen with some markers and butcher paper. That is a true advertisement banner...nice coated art paper and appears to be well printed...the type of graphic a 'spin machine' would use to hype something...like pResident McSockincrotch playing pilot on an aircraft carrier and declaring his victory in the Middle East a tad bit prematurely. This would have been a gaff at best and a "whoops, jumped the gun" at worse if they would have just admitted they put it up for the president as a photo op. It's the lies and the lame excuses that keep making "Nothing Accomplished" such a good jab at Chimpy.

17. Well I can understand that...

I had this big sign saying "For Sale by Owner" out front of the house a while ago. People would come to the door to inquire and I'd just laugh and tell them the property for sale was just the square foot around the base of the sign. And we'd both break up laughing about this great, great practical joke.

Maybe a couple dozen people came by the first month the sign was up, and we all had a great time, laughs all around, much back slapping and just being happy to be alive.

So I know that when they say the sign didn't really mean what it meant, or didn't say what it said, or didn't include what it included -- well, it's just a bunch of manly men having a manly laugh with their manly leader. Anybody who took the whole thing seriously really needs to get a life.

So.... Is that what this dumb shit is actually saying? If so, give him a kick in the ass for me when you corner him.
