Ethical Conundrum.
I have the ability to make both t-shirts and buttons. Would it be wrong of me to make "Teabagging/Teaparty" products, yet donate half my profits to progressive 2010 Democratic candidates?

1. This is a Conundrum
but you need to ask yourself if you have employees who have families they need to support and would this help them by doing this. Use this for the Good of all.

4. Well, someone is going to make these items
and if you can turn the swords into plowshares by making sure some of the profit goes toward opposing them, a much more active approach than buying a button or other tchotchke, then by all means do it.

8. Teabagging, yes; Teaparty, no.

I was approached to design a website for a pro-Iraq war blog one time, and was faced with a similar dilemma (it would have been a lucrative job, from which I would donate a portion of the proceeds to Democratic candidates).

When thrown out to the DU community for consideration, one respondent wrote, "Deriving profit from any unworthy cause is always a morally bankrupt proposition."

I turned it down.
