Thank you for the hearts

I'd like to thank my anonymous donors for the two hearts.

My week got off to a lousy start, and it continues to deteriorate as today progresses. Those two hearts--believe it or not--made things a lot better. Just knowing someone was thoughtful enough to do such a thing had a surprisingly big impact on me.

It's really the little things that people do in life, without expecting any credit or anything in return, that ultimately mean the most.

Last night, one of my cats must have known I had a rough day. He jumped up in my lap, rubbed my chin with the top of his head, then stood on his back legs and grabbed my face with both front paws and rubbed my cheek with his face. I almost cried.

At any rate, enough of the sappy stories. Thanks again for the two hearts. They really mean a lot to me. :) (And I will be giving some out later, when I donate.)
