Why don't we stop paying attention to Sarah Palin?
I can't stand the sight, sound or smell of her! Today I made 2 attempts, an hour apart, to turn on the Ed Schultz show and both times he was raving on about Sarah Palin. I immediately turned the station.

It is tedious and infuriating.

Why the hell is she getting so much ATTENTION, especially from the liberal side?

Possibly if we'd ignore her, she would just go AWAY! :grr:

5. If she were 10 years older
and 20 pounds heavier, the media wouldn't give a rats ass about her.

6. I understand that!
but why does our side have to constantly obsess about her? As far as I'm concerned it's just junk food. Can't they spend that time on something important?

9. Because the lame stream media won't let you - they force to you to treat her as seriously as
President Obama so that they have some kind of drama to cover and some excuse to sell soap.

If they marginalize and ridicule her as she so richly deserves then the drama is over and the game is over and the Republicans have lost. People don't give a damn about the post-game show now do they?

Of course at some point every moron jumps the shark and falls off the lame-stream media radar but not until they can find a more viable replacement. Until then they will hold her up and provide her reputation with life support to allow it to appear pseudo-credible to the uneducated audience watching their shows.

14. Ya mean me?
This is the first thread I've started, the culmination of being subjected to her constantly. Though I never open any of the threads, nor look at her image for longer than the time needed to recognize her.

Seeing her for one second brings up feelings ranging from boredom to disgust.

She needs to get to the "whatever happened to" stage, and right quick!

16. Too much crotch-sniffing to be had to pass up - from what I can see.
Speculation about the parentage of her baby with DS = crotch sniffing
Speculation about the parentage of her grandchild = crotch sniffing
Ooogling her newly published nude woulda-been son-in-law. = crotch sniffing

And then there's the legion of Republicans who would love to just forget the song and dance and bury their noses right in there.

Too much fun to be had.

18. It's kinda hard to ignore the bubble headed nitwits
who keep thrusting themselves into the spotlight. IMHO she's even scarier that bush and that adds to the morbid fascination.

19. I think on some level...
that we have to keep this (Ed, Keith, etc.) up. She is not going to go away as long as FOX continues to give her a platform. If we ignore her, it will be at our own peril.

It sucks, I know.

21. Because she is NOT GOING AWAY
Whether you want to admit it or not, she's the biggest thing going for the repubs right now. Yes, it's a pathetic testimony of just how far they have sunk, but it's reality. We do ourselves no favors by burying our heads in the sand and pretending that she's not going to be a factor.
