People worrying about Palin running for President are probably worrying over nothing
Just a quick anecdote to reassure you: I've talked to a lot of people over the past year who said they wound up voting for Obama solely because of Palin's presence on the Republican ticket.

That slobbering lunatic doesn't garner support from anyone but the 20% who always vote Republican.

No way she'd even make it out of the primaries.

2. I'm worried that there are enough silly "Palinists" out there
to make things close enough for the repukes to steal another election.

4. I'm not worried either
She doesn't have the crossover appeal necessary to win.

5. I'm worried
The M$M is doing everything possible to insure she has no bad press for the next two years.

Fox is basically paying for an image remake over the next two years.

And the American people elected Shrub twice.

6. I only wish I had your enthusiasm about Palin. The only obstacle in her way to the primary could
be that "dude" from Massachusetts.

8. Good point. Never take anything for granted and never think
they don't have a chance.

7. That's what I've been saying.
The number of people that don't want her to run on her own side is insurmountable. No one, and I mean no one, other than Bush's 23% see any appeal to her. The media likes her because she's puts a pretty face on a clown car wreck.

She would never make it through a Republican primary. There are too many equally ruthless people that would tear her apart.

10. I think Romney and Huckabee will tear her apart
they aren't about to let her just walk away with the nom without a brutal fight.

11. People have to remember that she is virtually untested on the campaign trail.
She never had to do a serious debate, she never made it through any primary challenges, heck, she couldn't even handle an interview with Katie Couric. I think she got exactly what her beauty-queen ass wanted -- fame. Money. She's just a real-life version of Nicole Kidman's weathergirl character in "To Die For." But not nearly as pretty or intelligent.

12. Palin may not get elected but she will energize the base.
That means that a lot of other Republicans will get elected.

15. Palin is a godsend to us. She'll split the GOP base like a hunter's carcass
And I will happily watch the ensuing mayhem as Bush era conservatives and Teabaggers tear each other to shreds. I actually know a fair amount of half intelligent Republicans, and they are about as fond of Palin as they are of picking up an STD.
