Palin's "relevance" perfectly defines the state of our culture.
Tea baggers. State of the media. Overall engagement of the bell curve of our country.

If Palin can be seen as at all interesting and relevant, we are in deep, deep, deep shit.

3. I'd bet she'll run on 3rd party
as she won't be able to bamboozle through a republican primary

5. We should not help Media implement her function: To fulfill a Bait-&-Switch with
SP as the bait, bringing Special Needs voters and flirting with Racists, that will result in President Romney and VP Huckabee.

6. Says nothing about the culture. Says volumes about media & propaganda
There's no evidence a large % of citizens are even interested in this crap

7. The media's job is to deliver an audience of consumers to
Corporate America.

The media do this by delivering what the audience wants, and they appear to want propaganda and crap:

Those who follow a Conservative narrative tune into Fox News.
Those who follow a Liberal narrative tune into MSNBC.
Those who want the label of impartiality without the painful reality and effort tune into CNN.
The oblivious stay tuned to ESPN and the many sourced of "reality" television.

January 20, 2009: Obama Inauguration viewership = 37.8 million
February 1, 2009: Superbowl XLIII television audience = 95.4 million

11. Which is why I believe alternative media are the future
of information, while the traditional media will increasingly become tools for mind control and pacification.

I can barely force myself to watch the "mainstream" media any longer. Intellectually, they're about as sophisticated on professional wrestling. Even the darling Liberal talking heads on MSNBC can be trusted not to stray too far from the Democratic party line.

9. We have a culture?
Or are you talking about yogurt? Of course Sarah is a lot like yogurt; bland, white and leaves a sour taste in your mouth afterwards.
