I get that same Hope-y Change-y question from my friends. Ugh.
It's driving me crazy. A couple of times just this last week I've mentioned that I voted for Obama and friends have said, with raised eyebrows, "So how do you feel about him NOW?"

I tell them, "Yeah, he's more of a centrist than I expected, don'tcha think?" My friends look at me like my face just turned green or something.

I think I need some new friends.

1. Hey, just remind them that * and Shooter did a great job and it is hard to live up to.
How is one man supposed to correct the destruction of Beelzebub and his puppet? Maybe your friends could call their congress critters and ask for some cooperation. For the record I do not talk politics with anyone unless I am absolutely positive that they are not idiots. You may want to adopt that policy.

7. I have one friend who has a pic of Obama on her desk at home
Edited on Sun Feb-07-10 10:09 AM by Mari333
with a huge PEACE sign on it. I told her, you realize he escalated the war in afghanistan and sent 30,000 troops like LBJ and is far more a warmonger than anyone could ever imagine

her response:"dont say anything negative!"

shes in lalalalalal land.
I wouldnt be surprised if I found out she lit incense and candles in front of his picture and bowed to him twice a day.

10. 'cannot get her to admit he is not what she had hoped for'....
How do you know what she hoped for or if she is displeased with Obama's ability to clean up *'s shit. All reports say that we have pretty much cleared out of Iraq, although my nephew is sill there. Everything takes time and not everyone is patient. If Mccain had been appointed where would we be with Iraq, Afghanistan, DADT, health care? One would wonder. But hey, even if your friend is disappointed with Obama even an animal trainer knows that you never rub their noses in the poopie. I do hope that you are happy about being so right about President Obama. We could use more intelligent people like you.
