Why is C-Span covering -- indeed promoting -- this tea party convention?
These people do not hold any government office, and this is not an official government event. It's just a bunch of whackos spouting off complaints about our current government. I don't watch C-Span much, but is it common for them to cover fringe political gatherings like this? Somehow I doubt it.
2. I'm not happy they are covering it but I was reminded
by my mother that they covered the anti-war protest in 2004. I didn't realize they did cover it but she was watching to see if she could catch one of us on TV. It was about the only coverage she could find. They covered some of the other anti-war stuff too.
Course I'm not watching C-Span's coverage of the tea-baggers, why give them the ratings.
