9. Who gives a shit about accents except for the pundits?
Black folks often speak with varied degrees of Southern accents depending who we are talking to......even us here in the North.

You don't think that there are Black folks in Hawaii and Kansas?

Please know that I was born in France, and as a mixed race Black person who emmigrated to the U.S. in my teens, I also get a southern accent everynow and then......when I'm talking to "my folks".....It's a Black thang, and it isn't confined to Southern Black Folks in these Southern United States.

3. It's a different format.
And for the person asking about the southern accent. Some people, like myself, get a southern accent when we're talking to southerners. It happens automatically with me.
