Organizations that have been instrumental post-Katrina?

I'm trying to find a list of organizations/NGOs which were instrumental in the aftermath of Katrina, and perhaps continue to have a role in the rebuilding of NOLA.

Ultimately, of these organizations, I'd like to find those who are also now playing an instrumental role in Haiti or anticipate doing so.

I'm looking for that overlap.

Any NOLA residents here who can speak from personal experience about different organizations?

Any suggestions and recommendations about where to research this subject further are most appreciated.

:hi:
