Anyone know details of a military flyover in NYC tomorrow?

from my wife's office (in Lower Manhattan):

We have been informed by Building Management that there will be a military fly over on Friday, February 5th. The aircraft will depart from Maryland at 8:00 a.m. and will proceed to travel towards the Verrazano Bridge and then up the Hudson River at 3000 feet. "

Any wisdom as to what this is for?

5. GO to FAA.GOV and look for any NOTAMS in the NY area. Easy enough.

I know whenever the President or Vice President is coming to Florida because they automatically send me a NOTAM on it.

9. UPDATE - Notice just received from NYC

A military aircraft will fly over the Verrazano Bridge, NY HArbor and up the Hudson today btwn 9:30 and 10 AM

My wife observes: perhaps this is in celebration of World Nutella Day?
