1. No Toyota in my garage.
a '91 Volvo 740 wagon and a piece of absolute garbage '99 GMC Jimmy. The Volvo is, by far, the superior vehicle, and it has twice the miles on it. If I had to drive from the Twin Cities to California tomorrow morning, I'd hop in that Volvo, in a second.

4. my gmc sonoma is a piece of crap
it's a 98, and hasn't hit 100,000 yet, but bits and pieces are falling off, The trannie has burned up 3 times, the engine runs rough, the side door to the back is now permanently jammed. Noisy. rough. bumpy.
Ever feel unsafe about the idea of a long drive? I do, with this beastie.

The honey's car is a 09 Toyota Highlander. Night and day. Smooth, great control, great views in all directions, huge capacity, comfy seats, an absolute dream to drive or ride in.

Even with these recalls, Toyota built one hell of a vehicle.

7. I made the mistake of buying...
..a Jeep Cherokee and it fell apart in less than a year. Total piece of garbage. Can't believe Chrysler is still in business.
