ORLANDO, Fla. -- New evidence against an Orlando police officer accused of groping a mother downtown was released on Thursday.

VIDEO: Discovery Released

Included in the discovery release was taped of interviews with Rachelle Cortez, the woman who made the claims against officer Brandon Loverde.

"Then he handed me my water and he kneeled down and he started touching my boobs and talking about how nice they were," Cortez said.

The alleged incident occurred outside Firestone nightclub after a concert in December.

57. Here's the back-story.

Years ago, I attended a small gathering of good friends. We just got together to hang out for a while. The hosts (a young couple) provided us with snack and whatnot, like good hosts do. One of the guys invited had a history of bitching about everyone's coffee being too strong; it had become somewhat of a joke to the rest of us.

So when the lady of the house, asked if anyone wanted coffee, she poured some of her own breast milk from the fridge into that guy's cup. He has a few sips and said "Hey, this coffee is much better than usual." and we laughed our asses off.

Now, I was certainly wrong to expect that anyone would know about that, but I stupidly just posted the first thing that came to mind. I chatted with the couple on FB the other night, and that was one of the first things she mentioned. I guess it was fresh in my mind. No one could have known that, and I was stupid to post a one-liner that was bound to be offensive.

I hear and have seen what he goes through day to day. And contrary to DU's popular belief, he isn't a cop to get one up on people. He is actually paid pretty poorly and has to deal with shitty people on a daily basis. He has risked his life way too many times (and I already have a dead brother, don't need another one), tells moms and dads their child is dead, etc. I could go on forever, but I am sure you don't care and your mind is made up. They aren't all bad. He is the first to admit some get in the cop biz for the wrong reasons. What they see day to day also hardens them and makes them less sensitive to things. Probably not a good thing, but I can't even begin to imagine, and it is also a coping mechanism. I am not asking people to be pro-cop but to realize it isn't hunky dory "I'm out to get you" either. And bad apples spoil the whole bunch, and there are way too many good apples out there. I will defend those good apples.

I've know cops on what I call a personal basis and a business basis all of my life and I have my reasons.

remembers he is serving his community. He actually isn't a "cop" anymore but now a state trooper. There is a difference. The sudden loss of our brother helped him with this job. He was the one on the receiving end when the cop showed up at our house to tell us about my brother's accident. Now he is the one who has to deliver such news. He knows.
