On my way back from town this morning....
when I am able to do some of my best uninterrupted thinking, this crossed my mind.

What if we started a "Do Your Job" campaign that is directed toward Congress and that isn't bound inextricably to either party's ideology. Let us go to those areas where we do know that both sides agree (e.g., the parts of HCR where there is consensus) and let us demand that Congress acts. We are really stuck in Idontknowwhereland right now and mired with no action occurring in an election year. The election is still months away and I'm not willing to wait that long for some of this stuff to be sorted out. It is too important. We can't allow some of this stuff to be slow walked or shelved perhaps for inperpetuity. What if we DEMANDED that Congress do its job...not just phone calls and emails but in your face stuff at both R & D legislators offices and on the Capitol. Call them out and expect ACTION. Demand it.
