How come republicans didn't reform health care years ago??
Conservatives say health care is in need of reform, boner gave the president his sparse lil "plan" to reform health care. Not too many years ago, the republicans had the house, senate and the white house, so why didn't they put their lil plan into action then? Now they come up with a lil book and whine because peope still correctly call them the party of NO!

Just a rhetorical question my friends. But I can tell you from very recent experience, the question and the explanation can make some of the fake patriots sputter and stutter and act like their stupid selves.

Go ahead, give it a try.

1. The reform they really want is complete privatization
If they went that far they'd presumably get hammered in places like the elderly, who are generally more conservative.

7. Because thousands of Americans dying every year is just fine with them.
As long as they're not rich white fetuses.

8. I already do ask them that.
The same way I ask them where are all the jobs the Bush tax cuts were supposed to create. I hear crickets chirping.

10. Ummm ... because ... uhhh ... give me a second ... OH YEAH! CLINTON GOT A BLOW JOB!
Wake up and smell the coffee, BOSS. Clearly consensual sex between adults is much more of a threat to the Republic than millions of Americans being one catastrophic medical event away fom bankruptcy.

11. They did -- the result is our current horrible system.
The legislative part largely involved deregulation that allowed private, particularly for-profit, providers and insurers to create the mess that now exists.

12. Denial
As usual, denial that there was anything wrong. Any "reform" we would have gotten from them would be in the form of "let the free market handle it, they can do it so much better than govt can. "

They are so fucking lazy :grr:
