2. That is the default position ...
No matter what is going on, there is ALWAYS a "dems are in trouble meme."

Chuck Todd babbling about the butt whipping BO gave the House wingers on Friday ...

"well, it really is kind of good and kind of bad ... BO is now running for 2012, that is what he was doing, so in doing what he is doing to run for 2012, it works against the congressional dems up for election this fall ..."

W H A T T H E F R U C K?

Lets not forget, that the meme the week or two leading up to BO's beatdown was that he was in trouble and had to run AGAINST the dems in congress, because that is what Reagen did in 82, you know, he ran against his, I mean, the opposition party ...

It all makes sense to them ...

3. My question is this....
Why do you even watch that rightwing nutjob in the first place? I never could stand her biased reporting,so I never watch her. I refuse to watch anything that sends my blood pressure through the roof, and watching wingnuts will certainly do the job. :hi:

6. Know Thine Enemy...
Watching them is a necessary evil... taking one for the team and reporting back to DU is a virtue.

9. Me too!
That's why I'm thankful for Spanone and this reporting back! I still want to know what lies they are telling... it's the only way to combat them effectively. But I can't watch... I end up yelling at the TV like my Grandpa used to do. I wouldn't worry about it except I made such fun of him at the time!

:o

4. Remember Bush the Opposite?
Remember how we'd always say that whatever the truth is, Bush and Co. would say the exact opposite? He haunts us, still. He has imparted his rear view mirror on all that is the GOP.

In reality, the Democrats are gaining strength... so, naturally, those in Bizarro World would say the Democrats are in dissarray... and only the RW, the TeaBaggers, The Birthers, The Faux Gnus Club, and assorted other Obama Obstructionists/Haters (on both sides of the aisle) will believe the inevitable verbal neutering.

Obama better keep calling out the lies and demanding proof of idiotic assertions.

15. Actually, it looks to me like they are finding a voice.
And spines. Finally holding repugs' feet to the fire and calling out their lies.

17. 78 seat margin in the House and 18 in the Senate...
and they can't pass anything without a bunch of wrangling. If that isn't disarray I don't know what is...

20. I disagree...
I think we've had too little "wrangling" in the past, and it's time to use the full power and authority and the complete rules of the game... and all the wrangling it brings out. We had too little wrangling during the Bush era, and look what it got us! Wrangling! The Anti-Cowardice!
