1. Don't watch TV anymore
But I hated that show when I did. I have better things to do than obsess about celebrities.

4. Not married... living together for four years...
And he's the one who turns the channel. I watched the Liz Taylor deal the other night and when it was over, he got all pissed and asked how he got corralled into watching that waste of broadcast airwaves!

Other than the occasional story like the above-referenced Taylor report, I have no use for ET whatsoever. I'll watch the opening though, cuz you never know when something good actually hits it... but more often than not, it's merely to poke fun at the stupid people who have made this show so popular.

19. Yes. Yes we are:)
Seeing as how he's an Atheist, I'm bearing the brunt of that deal:)

Former (recovering) Fundy... with deep seeded Fundy guilt issues:)

It tends to work in my favor when arguing scripture with RWNutJobFundies though!

It will be interesting when my Christian missionary cousin (who lives in Israel) comes to visit this summer!

5. Since I never watch any TV except for Keith and possibly
The Food Network and the History channel... I'm guessing I'd pick "turn it off." The TV's never on when it comes on anyway.

9. It comes on after the local news...
Just a cue to switch to Jeopardy. Simpsons, American Dad... that's all the broadcast I watch. The rest of the time is PBS... like the Moyers deal last night.

12. I'm single... wanted to know what happens in Democratic households
I hate the show because it is all fluff and irrelevant.

I switch immediately to satellite and then either find a good show to watch or TIVO.

7. I turn it off.... but must confess
that I got sucked right into the baby Danny Lynn saga. Not on ET though, because after all, it was hard news, ROFL.

That's why I asked him if his wife made him turn the channel... too much T & A maybe?

16. Some people think "too much T" is an oxymoron.

But I've never seen a nursing infant that'd disagree. :silly:

17. LOL!
Yeah, male perspective and all considered:)

My middle kid loved the nursing so much, he rooted to every boob he encountered... he gave my great-grandma quite a chuckle fit! "Oh ho ho ho! That's been dried up for some time now, you young scalawag!"

:silly:

21. I love kids that know they're mammals from the get-go.
Too many grow up thinking that they'll get nourished by a bottle ... and any bottle will do.

14. Yes -- or at least 2 adults with a committment to each other.
Doesn't make any difference if you are single and can switch channels anytime you want.

It is a different when their are two adults in the household.

18. I hear about male dominence over the remote control
a lot! My guy waltzes in, grabs the remote and surfs away. Sometimes I'm actually watching something and I sit and stare at him until he notices, looks at me and says, "What?"

kept my remote snaggin daughter occupied for a good 10 minutes while I finished my show.

10. I just checked the TV listings to see when it's on.........
does that tell you something? lol

Here it's on during the second half of "Hardball" and during HGTV's "House Hunters" which is my go-to channel when the news has me totally worn down and I need background noise.
