KARL ROVE: Harold Ford, Jr. Is ' Articulate, Attractive '
BWHAHAHAHAHA. Just what Harold needs, an endorsement from Turd Blossoms.

The man behind the George W. Bush curtain gave an interview to The Memphis Daily, which asked for thoughts on ex-Tennesseean Harold Ford, Jr. Rove either hates Harold, or is suffering from the delusion that his praise could help any contemporary politician, much less a New York Democrat who is having trouble proving he's liberal enough.

Karl Rove on Harold Ford Jr.:

“He’s a guy with a lot of intelligence and a lot of drive and ambition, and (incumbent Democratic New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is) a weak candidate. We’ll see how it plays out. He’s an aggressive campaigner.

He’s had a few missteps here at the beginning, but … (Ford) is an articulate, attractive candidate who can sway crowds. He needs to have a message that resonates with New Yorkers. New York has been accepting of candidates who’ve moved in from elsewhere. Robert Kennedy, as you know, was elected to the Senate from New York even though he was from Massachusetts, and former first lady Hillary Clinton was elected to the Senate from New York even though she spent most of her adult years in Arkansas.”

1. MSM skewers Biden for similar comments. Wanna bet this time there's
nothing but silence?

12. MSGOP was fawning all over Hayrold this mourn.
How well he dealt with Steve Colbert! What a natural pol! What a great set of answers! He will kick ass over Gillebrandt!

Of course they barely admitted that he is on staff on MSNBC, and did not say that his unfavorables are far higher than his favorables.

4. Hopefully That's The Kiss Of Death...
I used to like Harold when he was a fresh new face about 20 years ago. Then he became a teevee favorite...and his real colors began to show.

Hopefully the folks in New York can see through this charade and Harold will be sent with his tail between his legs back to Wall Street where he'll just have to settle with being a high paid lobbyist/pundit.

If I were Kirsten Gillibrand...I'd get the video of Rove and plaster it on the teevee.

7. Even though their Yankees suck, I feel New Yorkers are way too savvy
to buy into Ford's crock of crap. He will probably be crushed...as it should be.

8. This NYer gets it
Ford is a DLC loser and has no chance here. Why is it the DLC can't win in their own states so they all figure NY is some sort of "world seat" where they can send their rejects? Let him run in Tenn if he is so damn wonderful and let them suffer with him. After Gillibrandname voted against drug reimportation I was furious and about the only thing that would make me vote for her in the primary is if he was the alternative. I'm sure that is just how the DLC planned it too. Maybe one day NY can have a real progressive again.

10. If Turdblossom praises Ford so highly
that's reason enough in my book to deeply distrust him.
