A radio station's eye-in-the-sky traffic reporting team created a rush-hour jam Monday morning when they landed their airplane on the Jersey Turnpike.
The single-engine Cessna made the emergency landing near Cherry Hill at 6:45 a.m., touching down in the northbound lanes between two cars.
"We couldn't land anywhere else, so I contacted the emergency tower and told them we had to land right where we were," said pilot Frank Vogt, 28, who works for the Metro Networks in Philadelphia.
"Once I realized we couldn't make it anywhere else, I knew I could land - even if it was between cars," Vogt of Oakhurst, N.J., told the Daily News.
