I'm going to say this about the Super Bowl ad with Tim Tebow.
Big...fucking...deal.

Ok, maybe I am being a little harsh, but really, what is the big deal about?
Focus On The Family is spending millions of $$$, to put this ad on the Super Bowl, and it'll barely get noticed.
That's millions of $$$ FOTF won't have for spending on their next big "cause."

Ever watch any ads on TV from anti-choice groups?
I've seen several, and they always, and I do mean ALWAYS, come across as preachy and boring as hell.

We remember ads like the big Clydesdale dumping a ton of snow on younger Clydesdales, or the horse farting on a sleigh ride.

This ad will end up forgotten a day after the Super Bowl.

2. Because we want to yell about it.
Personally I don't give a shit, and I think there are more like myself who don't give a shit.

4. To me, it's less about the ad itself, and more about CBS's unfair policy.
They won't air liberal "controversial" ads. But they'd air one from Focus on the Family of all groups. That's what gets me.

6. CBS has been kissing right-wing ass for years.
Ever since Uncle Walter left.

8. We can.
We can stop watching CBS.
Especially their news show.
(Except for 60 Minutes, and even there I only watch parts.)

5. I am still not sure if it is calling for new legislation or just someone explaining their choice?

9. Focus on the Family is not spending millions of dollars
just to put someone on the television to explain their choice. Seeing as they're a *pro-life* orginizatin. And that's putting it mildly.

That's like saying "I'm still not sure if Scott Brown is going to suck. Let's give him a chance! We don't know what he'll do without seeing first. Why is everyone so down?"
