Why don't the Dems introduce a bill in each chamber to repeal their last salary increases?

Or roll their salaries back to an earlier time?

Would the pukes go for it, or would it put them on the spot?

on edit: Would it change the atmosphere, politically, for Dems this year in a significant way?
