Murder, steal, cheat... Anything.

It's why throughout human civilization there has been designed and implemented some kind of moral restraint, with the accompanying laws and rules, to keep a cap on the apparent predisposition of the utter baseless segments of society from going utterly APE COOKIES!

Corporations, banks and markets are composed of the aforementioned entities known as HUMAN BEINGS. Human beings, as full of human foibles of any that have ever lived. But somehow, if we were to listen to Republicans, that makes them very different if they are part of some corporation, bank or market.

Let the market take care of it, we hear that a lot from any Republican's thin lips.

Of course, this is nothing but a big steaming pile of crap.

They never cease from proffering a ludicrous argument to allow markets, banks and corporations to police themselves without government regulation (i.e., the opposite of making sure that the public's best interests are preserved).

So, when McDonnell was toeing the corporatist line last night, like every other Republican mother fucker that I've ever had the misfortune to come across, I knew that everything he said was nothing but complete BULLSHIT.

There's only ONE REASON and one reason alone why they ALWAYS do this crap... They're doing their best to stop the best interests of the American people from stopping the corporations, banks, markets and their boot-licking cronies from doing ANYTHING THAT THEY WANT TO DO.

Such as murder, steal and cheat you, me and everyone else who is otherwise defenseless, to do it for fun AND profit... To do it to us without with recourse, condemnation or consequence. To do it just for the fucking Hell of it.

Talk about the banality of evil. There it is.

This is why the Republicans are always wrong and must be ALWAYS BE OPPOSED!

1. One of FDR's biographers
whose name eludes me, said that one of Roosevelt's great strengths was that he understood that members of his class in general, and bankers in particular, couldn't be trusted with other people's money. They had to be fenced in with strict regulations and watched constantly. And the proof is that since Carter and Reagan began dismantling the rules FDR put in place, the bankers have been stealing as fast as they could; anything that wasn't nailed down. And Repulicon and Democratic politicians alike have been helping them to the boodle and lieing about it for the last 30 years. And the beat goes on. I'll believe it's changing the day they put Phil Gramm and Robert Rubin behind bars.

2. When you 'get away with being wrong' ...
you're stuck with being wrong.
