...... Freaky Fundie Lady at work that is. She and the other fundie lady at work (who's less freaky) were just talking their usual right wing talk, when Freaky Fundie Lady mentioned that Howard Zinn died (I don't think the less freaky fundie lady even knows who Howard Zinn is). So then Freaky Fundie Lady says, in a loud voice so that me and the rest of the annoying liberals in the cubicle island next to hers could hear it, "I hope all of his lies about American history die with him."
I take an attack on Zinn rather personally, and my instinct reaction would be to read her the riot act on "lies" about American history.......But I took a deep breath, let it go, and pretended not to hear her. Stupid people just aren't worth the energy.

I'd be interested in knowing which of Zinn's claims she considered lies and what her proof to the contrary is.
