We didn't have any proof of these kinds of activities until these recent developments in U.S. Senator Mary L. Landrieu (D-La.) so I think we had better did a little deeper into this? We need to find out if the losing Dem campaigns were wondering why the opposition Rethug scum always seemed to be one step ahead of them. Like they knew what they were going to do. We need to find out if there were any of these types of irregularities in their campaigns.

Miraculous turnarounds like this last election in Massachusetts are far and in between. Something is fishy here. Someone needs to investigate this.

I think we need to focus on our electoral system.

2. they sure are some rascals aren't they? Boys will be boys right?
Someone on tv last night mentioned that this is the kind of crap that made rove famous and such a darling to the party. Og course, some of us remember liddy and north before they were loveable crumudgeons on radio. Brownshirts in every generation. If these nutjobs are doing this, what is eric prince doing?

4. Dirty Tricks Are Their Stock In Trade
I won't blame Coakley's loss on dirty tricks...they usually work best when an election is close and can be stolen. Her poorly run campaign along with an angry electorate (that wasn't anticipated) did more to help Brown than phone jamming or any other trick. In the past couple elections, their favorite ploy has been to disenfranchise voters through laws requiring IDs and other restrictions that prevent blacks, hispanic and the elderly from voting. That's a lot easier and with so many raygun and booosh toadies on the courts, also easily accomplished in some states.

Pimpgate reminds us that these goons are out there and keep an eye on them. But you can see their stupidity as well that could soon expose the connections that pull off these crimes. I'm hoping that in addition to criminal charges, there will be a civil suit against O'Keefe and with it the power to discover his financial and political connections. They gave a wide opening for this to happen...let's see if anyone follows through...

5. Knowing the other sides strategy can make a huge difference
I am not definitively blaming Coakley's loss on dirty tricks but I think someone should investigate and find out if there were any irregularities.

Just for peace of mind.

6. Agreed...But Watch Where You Cry Wolf
We see it on both sides...when a party loses an election; especially one where many think they should win, the first thing to do is blame the election being stolen. For the right its ACORN, the left its Diebold...and it feels good to use this as an excuse rather than to blame a poor candidate or message.

You'd think the candidate or the party would be on any irregularities or should be...they have lots of money at stake here. While there's always some small scale tampering that's reported, seems the most common fraud that goes on happens outside the voting booth, not with the machines. No question if there's some real evidence of tampering, it must be investigated, but if Democrats lose seats (and by large margins), you can't blame the machines.

7. don't forget there is no paper trail on the voting machines in Mass
also in Virginia, I don't know about NJ.
Without a paper trail I don't trust any election results.
