Four letters spell the GOP's popularity problems..."IRAK!"
Did anyone see Tim Russert misspell Iraq on NBC nightly news last night? Timmy had that strange thousand yard stare again last night. He looks like that 24/7 anymore. Is the guilt starting to catch up with him? Is he shaken because, he knows, that we know, that anytime the White House has something smelly to sell, they go on Timmy's Meet The Press to sell it?

Did Timmy see this before we did?

2. Yes, I saw that - and I liked the numbers. Getting worse for BushCo.
In spite of the Ira(Q)K thing, it was nice to see the tide is turning against this damn war.

6. And that was a poll being conducted by NBC/Wall Street Journal...
So IMHO, the NBC/Wall Street Journal crew, were being overly kind to the GOP with those numbers.

You know that has to be breaking Jack Welch and the neoCons at WSJ's hearts to report numbers like that.

NBC has sold their soul to the bushies and in the end their credibility will be no better than the Rovebots at FOX.

I think the fairness doctrine should be debated on the floor in congress SOON. I think serious testimony about the media's part in this entire Bush/Rove mess, is going to be VERY interesting.

4. Russert was wearing a heavy coat of shame on Moyer's show last night.
He could barely look Bill in the eye. His voice was almost cracking with pent-up guilt as he tried in a half-assed sort of way to defend his actions, but it came off so lame as to provoke pity and revulsion...

7. "provoke pity and revulsion"
I can't stand to look at the man anymore. I hope the guilt eats him alive.

8. By the looks of him, I think that it is. His eyes were practically begging
Bill to forgive him. Russert knew he was sitting before a REAL journalist, one with integrity and REAL standing among professionals. Unlike Russert who is known to be a tool and lickspital to the PTB. It was all but disgusting to watch Timmy writhe in self-loathing...

5. "Irak" is how it's spelled in Spanish; dunno if that's relevant at all here.
