3. Totally skewed
Notice how all the ranges are less than one percent, and THEN the last one is almost four percentage points?

Why no colors for 7%, 8%, 9%?

4. This one is more accurate, IMHO
The one from the OP has the darkest "color" at 10%. This one has it at 13%, with more shading to show how different it is county to county.

10. There's nobody there. All those low unemployment counties...
in the High Plains are also low population. People have been leaving those parts of the country for decades. I know I did.
