I'm not mad at Obama. The economy is shit, and I hope he can help
to turn it around. He inherited a fucking mess, and I wouldn't want his job.

He reached out to the GOP and got "NO" instead.

Rush, FOX, Beck and many more have been railing against him for over a year: like the assholes they are.

He does not control Congress. They make their own messes.

I hope that the Dems in congress realize they are still in the majority and act like it.

I would vote for Obama again if he runs, and I plan to keep voting for the Democrats as well.

To those that want to scream and cry about it then please do. That's Democracy.

To those that wish sit out the next election this is what you'll be voting for all over again.

Yes, they'll look different, but they'll be the same rotten SOBs that made the USA a shitty place over the last 8-12 years.

4. I heard a GREAT analogy on Stephanie Miller this morning:
We hire someone to clean out and organize our trashed closet.

The person begins by emptying the closet.

We say "We hired you to organize and fix this! Why is this stuff all over the place?"

The person gets familiar with the items to store, then begins by folding a pair of jeans to place back into the closet.

We say "What are you doing spending time on those jeans? And why is that shirt all balled up on the floor? Why aren't you doing something with the shirt?"

And so on...

9. I may give it its own thread, but I'd better listen to it again to be able to relay it
more accurately and give the guy whose analogy it is credit. I agree -- very, very good.

14. Close but no cigar
We hire someone to make us dinner since we are disabled and we are really really hungry. Obama comes in and empties the fridge onto the counter and starts his "food preparation" by handing most of the choice stuff, that WE paid for, off to his rich friends who always seem to conveniently be stationed right outside our door. In fact these "friends" of his have been hanging out there since we hired Obama.

We say, "we hired you to feed us, not the greedy fucking scumballs you hang out with who throughout history have made life for the rest of us damn near intolerable with their endless bullshit and greed." He tells us to fuck off because that "other" chef is a very very bad bad bad bad evil bad evil chef and "where can we go".

Obama finally figures out what he wants to make and of course it is something his friends would love to eat and something we hate. He gets familiar with the ingredients which by now are mostly missing and substituted with nothing but hot air and decides to send his dwarf-like sadistic gnome friend out to shriek in our faces about how retarded and unreasonable we are to even think we deserve a voice in the process.

12 months later we are long dead and the house is cold and empty. Obama comes back to give a speech on what a great job he did and to see if there isn't even 1 fucking crumb left that his team may have overlooked. Then he goes on to a well-paid job at the local restaurant, who it turns out got most of our food in the first place. They love his cooking and we are all dead of starvation so of course its a very happy ending for a rich chef. The end.

5. Is it screaming and crying...
when I say that I'm disappointed in what I see and hear from our government? I was under the impression that its duty as a American to give my honest opinion about these matters.

6. To which I replied...

But... There are those who, I believe, would be happier if Obama failed.

Why they post on this site is another question.

failing as a country, then any single politician. It would be nice if all my concerns were proven false, but there have been plenty of items to worry about.

If I mistook your meaning, I apologize, please continue to be patient with those of us who are concerned.

Grammar edit.

11. If Obama fails then
we will have endless Republican rule starting in 2012.

That should be reason enough to get behind him.

12. No need to apologize.
I think that they, Obama Admin, may know things...maybe unpleasant news about the economy.

It is possible that BushCo did far worse than they are letting on.

Failure is a possibility. Perhaps that is what the GOP would like more than anything.

To the gallows with them for it if they do.
