A notion on the state of the nation

I cannot overstate the peril my union was in or the self centered nature that caused it to perish;

The unanticipated breeze of unfulfilled expectation are all that is left to flow in the winds of change. While the challenge to be viewed as one at the helm of a public may be destiny, I find I wonder a lot lately between it and damnation, and the difference between.
The first decade of the new millennium of American life is to know day to day division on every imaginable level. Mostly of the citizenry from their resources, their rights and their capacity to reason; all as means to destroy a people’s resolve. Forces within the structure of our experimental political model have sought and secured its collapse, as it stands hollowed, waiting for the wind to whistle away its tattered and thinning hull.

Will it be eulogy or the dawning of a new nation, Mr. Obama?

We are here, we are now, and in order to survive as a sensible, spirited, and sincere citizenry, we need governance that reflects a will of its masses, which it is currently not. The nation is trying to recover from the lusty pursuit of a unitary executive branch, but has now seen both the legislative and judicial branches of government echo that sentiment in their own abandonment of the notion of a self governed society. As the rule of law can be purchased by the apparent rulers of order.

Our financial experts ripped us off and drove the economy into a tangled abyss.
Our legal experts silenced the voice of the citizenry when they gave corporations an exponentially enhanced voice.
Our elected officials have looked to industry lobbyists for the language in laws that are made and as such are derelict in their duty as public servants.
Our educators are under siege.
Our healers are held hostage buy the demand that profit be squeezed from the risk pool.
Our defenders are dying or dead inside for the lies of indefinite war.

This mutation of the American expression must be put down like the rabidly ravenous dog that it is, so we, the people can reboot a broken system with more effective safeguards, the lack of which has clearly been the cause of the crash for far too many.
Fire them all, wipe the folly of the books clean and give the people a chance to make the change they thought you would lead them in making.

The spirit of an independent people will prevail, it’s the vessel we travel in that needs upgrading. The design of the one we’re in isn't a working model of its theoretical principle.

It has been a sweet but now distant illusion we have lost sight of, but I am ready to help make it real, I'd like to hope I'm not alone in that.
