Who should give the Democratic response to the SOTU this year?
I think Sherrod Brown would be a good choice.

The OP is a jest. No need to reply/explain that there will be not be a Dem response.

2. Maybe Skinner could do a video response and post on DU!?
Short of that you'll have to watch FSTV.

3. I know who I'd like to see give the REPUG response....

Joe Wilson--wearing duct tape gag. :eyes:

(I wonder what RETHUG will try a repeat of his little stunt)

4. Would be better then McDonnell.
At least the criticisms would be valid and not for pure show.

7. An incisive point
Yes, the critique from the left is substantive while the RW critique is mere reaction.

Anyone from the Democratic Wing of the Democratic Party will do.

"There are forces within the Democratic Party who want us to sound like kinder, gentler Republicans. I want us to compete for that great mass of voters that want a party that will stand up for working Americans, family farmers, and people who haven't felt the benefits of the economic upturn."---Paul Wellstone
