Third rate break in: or what we can learn about corruption
O'keefe and crew are in essence small frye caught in a story that reminds many of us of another break in... confession time, I was pretty much asleep on that one. Hell I didn't even live in this country, so we had OTHER things to worry about. That said, dad watched every night in rapt attention... so I knew it was probably important.

Anyhow... these boys could get ten years in the pokey...

I have the sneaky that when all is said and done these boys will get a slap in hand.

Depending on who they point at, it will tell us A LOT about connections and corruption And this is why this case matters... corrupt justice systems and protection of those connected to the elite are markers of very corrupt societies.

So as they say, keep tuned in... it will be telling, but not for the usual reasons.

2.  I wasn't alive for Watergate.
I was born 3 years later but still intrigued by it. I have no doubt that these idiots might be tied to someone else, nor do I think Landrieu is completely innocent of what they thought she did. Should be interesting.

5. I was a young kid
didn't even speak English...

But tell you what, Nixon did look like a crook.

And in what you said, those were also small frye.

3. I remember when Watergate broke on the news.
Few thought it meant much that first week. Then, slowly it got bigger and bigger.

6. 'xactly, the burglars WERE small frye
these guys are small frye. And if the system is not corrupted to the point I suspect it is, if they walk but turn in the large fish... I'm ok with it. If they walk and there are no connections... and no punishment, the stink will be a little higher.
