Democratic Party Chair Michael McHale - 'Louisiana Watergate'
http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0110/Dems_capitalize_on_Louisiana_Watergate.html?showall
<snip>
Democrats were caught utterly off guard by the explosion of the sting and scandal at ACORN last year, and now they seem to be enjoying their revenge: With the FBI releasing sketchy details of the arrest at Mary Landrieu's office and no comment so far from anyone close to the suspects -- including ACORN foe James O'Keefe -- the Democrats are applying a full court press.

Democrats are circulating Media Matters' note that 31 House Republicans recently voted to honor O'Keefe, and Louisiana Democratic Party Chair Michael McHale has named the mess:

This is a Louisiana Watergate. Louisiana families are shocked and outraged that these men would break the law to carry out their political agenda with this Watergate-like break-in and attempted wiretapping. Given his ties to some of the players involved, Sen. Vitter should immediately denounce the actions of these four men and anyone who may have instigated, supported or assisted them.

We call on U.S Attorney Jim Letten to conduct a thorough investigation and to prosecute any wrongdoers to the fullest extent of the law.

What this is, so far, is much like the opening of the ACORN scandal itself, only with real charges from a real law enforcement agency.

7. Vitter called for racketeering investigation against ACORN wonder if he'll do the same now.
Landrieu's Republican counterpart, Sen. David Vitter, called for a racketeering investigation against New Orleans-founded ACORN last year in the wake of O'Keefe's videos.

4. Funny thing Keith said on his show.

"Isn't 'Louisiana Watergate' a redundancy???"

He also said, "Maybe somebody will win the Huey Long Award!".

Do you know why god invented Louisiana?

Answer: To make Texas politics look clean.

(I'm a native Texan and I've lived here all my life.)
