New DU group proposal - Law Enforcement

I'm not sure how many votes or whatever it takes or how to "lobby" the DU Admin but I would like to propose a new DU group forum for the purpose of and benefit of current, former, retired, spouses and friends of law enforcement officers to discuss whatever issues are on the table for any given day from knowledgeable perspectives and points of view.

4. that could be interesting. although i am not a current, former, retired, spouse,

family member or friend of law enforcement.

it made me wonder how much people participate in some of the groups we have now. so i went browsing around--and was surprised to find how little activity there seems to be with groups such as the daily show.

i guess when we put up posts we do it in gd because it will get more traction, more hits, more responses rather than if we pidgin-holed it.

therefore, i would like to propose that every member of du pledges to adopt two groups a week to post at least one comment on.... (think it will work? i don't but i thought i'd propose it...)

this might be a helpful group as far as discussing legalities regarding various issues.

or it could be a flamefest.

(either way, i'm really tired and probably just rambling on)

sure, i vote for a law enforcement group--but i don't guarantee i will participate (would that be half a vote then?)
