2. Yeah, he was full of shit.
You know, talking about poverty, the war against the middle class, that sort of thing.

His personal failings are one thing, but it was the message to me that was most important.

McCain is a cheater and he was the presidential candidate yet Edwards is out of sight.

20. I'll still take him over any
of the RW shills that were listed. Edwards' sins don't compare to DeLay's either!

13. People in his state were amazed that he was
running for President while his wife had cancer. They must really hate him knowing that he ran for president AND cheated on his cancer stricken wife.

A lot of people supported him when he was running for president, including me. That we somehow would be able to predict that he would implode the way he did is ridiculous. So don't act so superior.

I supported him back then and don't regret it because, even if he is a phony, I still liked his message better than Obama's or Hillary's.

The man's political career is over. He'll never hold public office again. He'll fade into irrelevancy and we won't have to hear from him anymore. That should be enough and I think bashing him at this point is pointless.

EDIT: Oh, I see. I'm talking to a troll. Considering some of the slime he's supported, he's the last person who should lecturing anyone about phonies.

12. I'm not, but then again I can separate personal life from message
and can understand why this became an issue.

And it was not because he laid down with a woman and had a child out of wedlock.

 It was because the US Chamber of Commerce/PTB were afraid of his progressive message and didn't want him anywhere near the Dem nom. He was the candidate they most feared, their words, not mine
