Miami planning Castro death party
I'm not fan of Fidel, but don't you think this is a bit much?

With Fidel Castro seriously ill, the city of Miami is making plans ot throw a party at a local football stadium when the Cuban president dies, complete with themed T-shirts...

What are they celebrating?
Castro's brother is already firmly ensconced in Cuba and nothing is going to change. Why don't they take the money and fix up Miami a little bit or feed some hungry families? How stupid.

4. I'd like for a liberal city to have a George Bush death party when the time comes
either H.W. or W.

Than assholes like this who take some perverse pleasure in dancing all over someone's grave.

9. Miami is the only city
In America with its own foreign policy. If you run for ANY office, even Dogcatcher, you need to be the guy who hates Catro the most.

13. I think it's sick to have a death party for anyone unless...
the one who is going to die specifically says they want a party. Thing is, what makes these people think things will be any different when Castro does finally die?

14. Yeah, like when the Left threw a big party when Nixon died.
Oh well. Let assholes be assholes, I suppose. Reality will get around to them sooner or later...

On further thought, I WILL certainly celebrate when Henry Kissinger dies -- but I doubt that I'll be able to get an entire U.S. city to foot the bill.
