MSNBC offering latest oil industry lies about price gouging
now it's because of all the "boutique" blends required in different parts of the country and limited refinery capacity.

whose fault is limited refinery capacity?

these bastards are gouging as deep and as fast as they can before their cronies in the shite house and the remaining repukes in congress are still in power.

goddamned thieves.

1. There is no limited refining capacity. Capacity has grown quite a bit each year via expansion.
It's the planned shutdowns, unease in the Middle East, Nigerian unrest, and pure unadulterated greed.

3. it's greed and contempt for Americans
period

they create the appearance of shortages to justify their price increases

fact is, they can make up any rationale they wish for price increases and the public will just go along with it

and keep on buying SUVs

2. well, europe does pretty well on four blends, with seasonal adjustments
throughout their continent. You DO need to take into account slow evaporation rates in cold weather, and you need to slow it down in really hot weather.
but even if we did rationally simplify, the companies would job the system to maximize their obscene profits.
