The Right Rev. Brit Hume points the way to Tiger’s redemption
3:09 pm January 3, 2010, by Jay

Kinda makes you wonder why God allowed that darned Buddhist to win so many golf tournaments over good Christian men. Then again, He also allowed a Muslim to be elected president of HIS country, the United States of Christian America.

But seriously, I do not understand and can’t begin to comprehend the arrogance it takes to publicly anoint yourself someone’s spiritual adviser, and to then lecture them about their faith and its alleged inadequacies. This was a prepared, considered remark by Hume, not some off-the-cuff aside.

A person’s faith is a private matter between that person and God, and is not a matter to be judged by some pompous TV anchor.

------------------------------------------------------

Also makes you wonder if that kind of talk drove his gay son (Sandy Hume) to suicide...

2. Well for one thing you got it wrong God didn't allow a Buddhist win anything that was
the Devils job, same as letting a Muslim win the presidential election. God allows the Devil to do these things to Test the faithfuls faith and to show them the evil that happens when their faith is weak. It could be that they didn't stop abortions or that they didn't kill enough brown people for God or not enough poor people starved during * rule so God turned his back on the faithful, allowed evil to rule and now the faithful must redeem themselves to gain Gods favor again. So God is punishing them for their lack of faith just like he Did with the children of Israel when Moses lead them out of Egypt into the desert where it took them 40 years to redeem themselves to God. But with the internet the faithful no longer have to wait 40 years to win redemption.

3. You can win redemption instantly online now, but you have to get the
screensavers and ringtones with it.

7. What a Moran. Buddhists don't believe in a personal god.
They believe people are "saved" by wisdom and understanding, not deference to a god.

10. See, in the universe of celestial assignments
Buddha governs golf, the Christian God has responsibility for football games. The Mormon God is the one to pray to when you need help with your marriage or kids or any domestic problem.

Okay, I should probably stop there.
