The Bush Decade
The decade of fear, the decade of war, the decade of lies, the decade of oppression. The decade of HELL.

I am SO glad it's over.

2. WGN, a big station in Chicago, just finished a segment during which they named the aughts.
I so wanted to call in and tell them that this was truly the Bush decade, because his handlers and their handlers have pretty much ruined the entire world for everybody, ruined it to the point from which there's probably no turning back

pick a topic. what have they not purposely (or, on occasion, through mere 'incompetence,' but I doubt that was ever the case) made MUCH worse than it was before they began their eight year criminal conspiracy?

broad brush much?

maybe, but there is only one segment of society that has made any positive strides since they stole the election nine years ago, and we all know who that is

3. I remembering while growing up in Chicago
my mother telling me that our government was designed so that no one person
would ever have enough power to create the kind of damage other nations experience.

I'm so glad she didn't live to see how untrue her words were.

4. Me, too.
However I don't think we're quite out of the woods yet.

The powers that the Bush-Cheney maladministration represented are still at work, and their continued presence is especially obvious through their use of the faux-populist 'Tea Party' movement and other more subtle means of propaganda (the corporate mainstream media, paid bloggers, internet Psy-Ops, etc...) to

a) blame ills on Obama despite the fact that it appears he's doing his best to work against the entrenched conspiratorial interests and, in doing so, turn his supporters and base against him

and

b) agitate and stir up actual violence and revolt against him and his supporters via the Teabaggers and their paranoid brethren

5. No, we certainly aren't.
And make no mistake, Cheney is still deeply entrenched in the CIA. The defunct PNAC group is still very much on the sidelines waiting for an "in" - all they need is another attack.
