I had to take a peek at that puke smearCONish this morning. jackie mason was on. I don't know anything about his poloitics, but I could tell pretty fast that he creeps me out. Has anyone else taken a brief peek at this idiot this morning? I don't have to worry about eating today, my appetite is ruined for the day, and maybe more.

He's a sanctimonious, undereducated Philly-moran who makes Chris Matthews (who's on now) sound like Eric Sevareid.

Tweety sounds like he's losing patience with Smirk-o, though. However, again, Tweety mentioning Carter's firing of USA David Marston in Philly about 500 years ago.

4. Not watching MSNBC today

at least not until 8 pm. My wife warned me when she saw that bald headed, rat faced, shit-for-brains A-Hole on this morning (set got switched off REAL fast at that point).

Someone ought to grab a hold of Dan ("I need a shave") Abrams and shake him good. He must see KO's numbers and know that there is a "lib" audience out there. Why he can't put two and two together is beyond me.

Oh well, at least it's finally warm and I can do some yard work today.

From what I've heard, this is a 3-day trial run for the jerk. Maybe we here at DU should write (I will) Abrams a letter expressing our displeasure at this turn of events. Ask for a morning re-run of KO's show or something, gasp, "liberal/progressive". He's trying to figure out what will replace Imus, and a bit of input might help.

7. When someone is abusing MSNBC's own employees (KO's included), firing him is not wrong.

I think it should have been done a long time ago. (I wrote a post on this a couple of weeks ago that was a transcription of things Keith said on Dan Patrick's show about how Imus and his staff had made the lives of women at MSNBC miserable, and the previous management's only solution was to MOVE THE WOMEN'S DESKS.)

But Smerconish is an awful idea.

He's not engaging, he's not informed, contextually he's very shallow, and his annoying delivery is beyond the pale. As an avid Imus-watcher, and I fully support his dismissal for all the reasons which were quite obvious, I'm switching over to CNN or Washington Journal for now.

16. Tuned in at eight a.m. and listened to the Richard Clarke interview

hawking his new book. He asked and let Clarke explain what he would do about getting out of Iraq. Did not interrupt him with opposing opinions. Then some Alec Baldwin talk. Defended Baldwin up to the point where the little pig remark was made. John Anderson, singer on now singing Give Peace a Chance. At this point pretty benign, no rabid right wing opinions expressed. But also nothing about his style that intrigues me enough to keep watching.
