to people who could prove they can pay, I believe they would do it. That's been their big talking point all this time- anyone can go to the ER and not be turned away (if it is a life-threatening emergency). If people just died they wouldn't run up huge bills that would be cost-shifted to other parts of the system.

collection agency.....They've done it to me before.....and the collection agency won't go away until ALL your resources and worldly possessions are gone.
