2. Hilarious.

When I saw the title of your post I thought you where going to talk about the infamous 1st meeting of KKKarl Rove and the Chimp. (Daddy had KKKarl pick up chimp at the train station or so the legend goes). That line of yours: "pro wrestling parody of Evil meets bad performance art imitation of Stupid." had me rolling.

4. mental illness is not evil

If liberals and Democrats don't even get it, I don't know how we ever expect the right wing to get it.

5. His actions were evil

That they were mediated by mental illness does not make the actions any less evil. I have major depressive illness but I don't use that as an excuse for any of my behavior. I take my necessary medication, exercise, eat well and get enough sleep to help keep it under control. But honestly, it still wouldn't be an excuse for any of my behavior. I'm sorry, that's a cop out to excuse his behavior based on his mental illness. And don't tell me that folks with autism (Cho supposedly had autism) can't also control their behavior - it is harder but it can be done. My child has autism and he works really, really hard to function appropriately.

6. Nope, it's not evil

You can't compare your mental illness to someone else's. It's unique to the person. Calling mental illness evil opens the door to fundies saying people need exorcisms to drive out the demons that prevent them being good. There is no good and evil to mental illness. There is responding to treatment, and not.
