Box o' Puppies Redux

One morning, Obama goes out on a morning jog, followed by a group of Secret Service agents, when he sees a little boy sitting on a corner with a box of puppies.

Obama stops and says, "Hey, kid, what kind of puppies are those?"

"They're Democrats," says the little boy.

Obama grins, pats the kid on the head, says, "Atta boy!" and goes on his way.

The next day, Obama is out jogging again, this time with Rahm Emanuel in tow. Sure enough, there's the boy on the corner.

Obama stops, winks at Rahm, and says, "Hey, kid, what kind of puppies have you got there?"

"They're Socialists," says the little boy.

Obama's face falls. "Socialists? Yesterday, you said they were Democrats!"

"I know," says the boy, "but today their eyes are open."
